Supertech Cordless Telephone System: Reader's Review
“This is one of the best cordless telephones we tested. With 10 channels, the user never has to worry about interference or static. A clear channel is just a push button away. The system also comes equipped with battery backup to maintain service during power outages, so you will never have to worry about being cut off from communication with the outside world during emergencies. Our favorite feature is the built-in answering machine. The Supertech phone is the only cordless phone we tested that had this feature. The answering machine includes remote message retrieval and a time/day marker for incoming messages. The recorded messages are easy to retrieve and save, and the sound is clear and comprehensible. The system comes equipped with a wall mount, though if you plan to hang your phone on the wall, we recommend considering some other models. The one drawback of this system is its large, clunky appearance. It looks fine on a desk or table, but hung on the wall it stands out like a sore thumb. Additionally, it is available in just two colors—black and white. If aesthetics is an important criterion for you, look at some of the models we review below. If clear sound and reliability at a reasonable price are what you are looking for in a cordless phone, we highly recommend the Supertech.”
